As a resident of the Upper Valley who has seen first hand the flooding devastation I am wholly supportive of the works which have been undertaken and are clearly working.
However, some questions do need to be addressed in respect of the impact to the playing fields which are sadly unplayable and in turn has a massive impact on grassroots sports locally.
The blue highlighted area in the original plan, is designated for pitches, yet is regularly flooded.
